ABBANK Launches Electronic Tax Payment Service

An Binh Commercial Joint Stock Bank (ABBANK) officially deployed electronic tax payment service for all business customers nationwide from June 1, 2015.
 
In recent years, the electronic tax payment service officially launched by the General Department of Taxation in cooperation with commercial banks is applied to all corporate customers across Vietnam. So far, the service has achieved extremely positive results as more than 24,000 businesses have registered to use the service which has collected more than VND14 trillion in taxes.
 
According to deployment agreements between the General Department of Taxation and commercial banks, ABBANK is one of 15 banks to officially launch the electronic tax payment service for corporate customers from June 1, 2015.
 
Specifically, corporate customers will be granted a number of incentives while they use ABBANK’s electronic tax payment service like anytime service on internet-connected devices regardless of holidays; simple procedures and documentations; secure, accurate, rapid and confidential transfer; cost and time savings. Specially, customers can use digital signatures to sign on accounting documents with the bank.
 
Besides, from June 1, 2015 to September 30, 2015, customers using the electronic tax payment service at ABBANK will be free from registration service fees, free from charges from settling tax payments using electronic tax payment software at the website of the General Department of Taxation, free from account opening and service registration fees of various services like Online Banking, SMS Banking, automatic electricity billing service plus various other incentive programmes.
 
The General Department of Taxation had deployed and expanded the electronic tax payment service nationwide as of April 2015. Up to 90 percent of companies operating in Vietnam are expected to use this new tax payment method in 2015.
