Vietnam - Japan Economic Forum

To further boost Vietnam - Japan strategic partnership, the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) will coordinate with the Japan External Trade Organisation (JETRO) to organise the Vietnam - Japan Economic Forum in Hanoi on October 14, 2015.

The forum is expected to bring together some 400 delegates from Japan and Vietnam, including governmental officials, economic experts, businessmen and media agencies.

The forum will discuss and assess the current state to propose measures to strengthen bilateral investment and trade relations, and opine Vietnam’s economic restructuring: Results and development orientations. During thematic sessions, the forum will delve into two main areas: Smart agricultural cooperation, and bilateral cooperation in finance and business privatisation. In addition, the gathering will be a rendezvous for Vietnamese and Japanese businesses to meet and exchange investment and business opportunities. Particularly, the forum will also provide an opportunity for businesses to express their views to governmental officials.
