VITM 2016 to Open in Hanoi
The Vietnam International Travel Mart - Hanoi 2016 (Hanoi VITM 2016) is scheduled to take place from April 14 to 17 at the Vietnam Exhibition Centre (Giang Vo, Hanoi).
With the theme "Vietnam - The paradise of sea and island tourism", VITM 2016 will introduce thousands of Vietnamese tourism products in general and sea-island tourism in particular to attract more international tourists to Vietnam and take more domestic tourists to Vietnam’s sea and islands.
The Organising Committee has chosen three tourism destinations of Vietnam in 2016, including Hanoi, Northwest and Central Highlands - Southern Central Coast.
VITM Hanoi 2016 will have many attractive tourism stimulus programmes. Specifically, airlines plan to issue 20,000 discount tickets for tourists and travel firms have prepared 15,000 promotional tours with 23-30 price discounts.
The event is expected to see 3,000 businesses arrive to seek business opportunities and some 62,000 visitors.
