Resolving Trade Disputes between African and Mekong Countries
With the support of the International Organisation of the Francophonie (OIF) and the International Trade Centre (ITC), the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) organised a training conference on trade promotion and trade dispute arbitration methods between African and Mekong Francophone countries in Hanoi on June 7 and 8, 2016.
Attendants to the conference included representatives from African countries, Laos and Cambodia and senior law and trade experts of Vietnam and Africa.
The conference aimed to support Vietnamese companies to do business and invest in African countries to access markets, seek reliable partners, understand customs procedures, international commercial contract forms, trade negotiations, export contract signing and trade dispute settlement methods to avoid risks in business and investment.
