All ministers and city and provincial leaders must get involved in the reform process by reviewing and revising the regulations within their jurisdiction, and doing away with any redundant procedures, he was quoted by local media.
He told the three-day meeting ending last Friday that ways must be sought to strictly deal with the abuse of power by public servants.
The meeting also looked into plans to fight corruption and wastefulness. The government's anti-corruption programme for this year will review laws and regulations governing public property management, and construction and bidding processes to see whether there are any loopholes leading to corruption.
The programme is envisaged building a leadership culture and promoting a democratic relationship between the Government and the public.
The cabinet also discussed reports on the draft of a police law and that of an environment law, as well as proposed amendments to the Military Duty Law and a directive involving the Law on Child Care and Protection.
