HCM City Enterprises Association Enhancing Its Role

The HCM City Enterprises Association last year recorded many positive results, particularly in trade promotion and technology transfer, actively helping its member enterprises obtaining high growth. 

The association orgasined meeting between local and foreign enterprises; called for enterprises to display their products at HCM City's Showroom of Vietnamese export items; held four exhibitions of handicrafts-wood processing, leather and footwear, garment, and food-foodstuff; and hosted the Apricot Blossom Award to find out new designs for handicraft products.

In 2005, the association will admit an additional 300-400 members, organise a big event to celebrate the Vietnamese Entrepreneur Day, October 13, and cooperate with the Investment and Trade Promotion Centre to present awards to HCM City’s excellent exporters on April 30.
