Mekong Delta's Largest Trade Center under Construction

The Tay Nguyen Construction Joint Stock Co. and the Long Thinh Co., Ltd. jointly kicked off yesterday the construction of what will be the largest trade center in the Mekong Delta region.

Costing VND220 billion (USUS$14 million), the center, called Tay Nguyen Plaza, is located in the South Can Tho River Urban Area in Can Tho province.

Tay Nguyen Plaza consists of an 18-storey building and a 15-storey building with total usable area of 44,000 sq m, including a 12,000-sq-m financial and trading section, 216 high-quality apartments and a 3,200-sq-m parking lot.

Construction of the center is scheduled for completion within two years.
