Gov’t Encourages Cooperation, Connectivity in Agricultural Production

The Government recently issued Decree 98/2018/ND-CP on stimulus policies for cooperation and connectivity development in agricultural production and consumption.

The decree clearly states that the lead of any cooperation will be totally funded for consulting fees by the State Budget but the value cannot exceed VND300 million. The fund covers consultancies and researches for building associated contracts, projects, production and business plans, market development plans.

Associated projects are 30 per cent supported by the State Budget for investing in machinery and equipment; building infrastructure works for linkage, including workshops, yards and warehouses for production, preliminary processing, preservation, processing and sale of agricultural products. The total support cannot exceed VND10 billion.

Particularly, in addition to investment support for infrastructure construction, stakeholders shall be assisted by the State Budget to build agricultural extension models, vocational training, technical training, advanced management skills and production techniques.
