Tiger Airways Offers US$6 Single Ticket Fare to Vietnam

Singaporean budget airline Tiger Airways has announced the one-way ticket price of US$6 for flights from Singapore to some ASEAN cities, including Bangkok, Chiang Mai, Hatyai and Phuket in Thailand, Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam, Padang, Manila and Macao.

Customers can book air tickets staring from March 28 to the end of April 1 and they can also visit the website www.tigerairways.com to get more information.

The fare is only applied for flights from Monday to Thursday between July 1 and October 29.

Tiger Airways, which was established on September 25, 2004, is now in competition with an array of budget airlines in the region, including Singapore-based Valuair, Qantas-backed Jetstar Asia and Malaysia's AirAsia. 

Singapore is now the 14^th largest tourism market for Vietnam, with a total of 42,727 people visiting Vietnam last year, according to Vietnam’s official statistics.
