HiPT: Satisfying Client Needs Is Top Criteria

In the late 20th century and early 21 century, the information and technology (IT) industry witnessed two milestones: the transfer from the system-oriented era into the network-oriented era and the transfer from the network-oriented era into the content-oriented aera. Based on the development trends of the IT industry rather than merely ideas, the HiPT Service and Communication Co. (HiSC) was set up to grasp these new tendencies and to serve social needs as well as involve the personalities, enthusiasm and passion of the people of the High Performance Technology Joint Stock Company (HiPT).

The IT revolution has been creating new opportunities and favourable conditions for the formation of a developed economy. Constant IT inventions have driven down cost prices, which has brought more benefits to society and IT service and product users than to providers themselves. Therefore, the key points of the national IT development strategy stress the application field creates a stimulating environment for users and benefits them by raising their awareness and knowledge.

In Vietnam, this really is a pressing issue. It can be said that investment in the IT infrastructure by several organizations has been superficial and lacking in both purpose and the quantification of results brought about by the new IT system. Another is the unclear understanding between the information systems and the IT infrastructure. Sometimes, new IT solutions are applied in organisations without training on the information system or with insufficient information processes. This imbalance leads to direct impacts on investment quality and efficiency because enterprises need information, not information technology. The main reasons for the above problems are attributed to a lack of professional consultancy, insufficient awareness of investors and limited knowledge of end users and system administrators.

Established in 1994, HiPT has harvested great successes with its motto “advanced technology-compatible solutions”. Inheriting that spirit, the HiPT Service and Communication Company (HiSC) always bases its solutions on client’s desires to develop their services. Just a short time after entering the market, HiSC has become known as a reliable service enterprise in the IT human resource development field, and a provider of multimedia information ports, E-Learning services and bandwidth communication services for organisations, enterprises and schools. HiSC is also a service-training provider for such key projects as the Government’s Programme 112 and the IT training programme for Hanoi civil servants as well as units of other ministries and branches.

Besides trademark developing activities, HiSC always regards pledges in service applicability and quality as a key philosophy to expanding the market. To do this, HiSC always stands by the customer’s side when surveying and evaluating the market. “Together with the introduction of new products to meet the market demands, we normally must adapt our services to particular clients. In every circumstance, we always cooperate with clients to disclose and resolve our common purposes. In this view, clients are unpaid staff during the application of HiSC services,” HiSC director said.

Along with other IT enterprises, HiSC are facing competition pressures from world-leading companies in the borderless global market, especially when Vietnam becomes a full member of WTO. However, thanks to invaluable assistances from the Party and the State, an increase in the demand for IT, and advantages and prestige of HiSC in the Vietnamese IT market, HiSC is optimistic and confident of overcoming all the challenges that lie ahead.

The further social awareness of the roles and applications of IT has made us believe in a brighter future for the IT service industry to continue contributing to national industrialisation and modernisation as well as in the strong development of HiSC in providing IT and communication services for the Vietnamese market.
