Canadian TV Promotes Vietnam Tourism

Canada’s Tele-Punch Television and Vietnam’s leading tourism company Saigontourist will join hands to make a new film featuring Vietnam’s tourism attractions, according to Nguyen Huu Tho, director of Saigontourist.

The film, entitled “Good Morning Vietnam!” will be shot from April 10 to May 10 in some of the most beautiful destinations nationwide including Ho Chi Minh City, Can Tho, Phu Quoc, Phan Thiet, Nha Trang, Danang, Hoi An, My Son, Hue, Phong Nha, Hanoi, Halong and Sapa, Tho revealed.

The documentary will appear on Canal Evasion three times per week for three years, the Canadian Television said, adding that the film will target subscribers in North America.

Regional countries of US and Canada now rank in the communist’s top ten tourism markets with 94,787 American and 21,884 Canadian arrivals to the country in the first three months of this year; an on-year increase of 34.2 per cent and 23 per cent, respectively.

Recently, Saigontourist cooperated with several international media agencies in the U.S., Japan, France, Australia, Canada and Malaysia to promote Vietnam’s tourism potential and the company’s trademark.
