New Boost for Manpower Export Markets

On October 20, 2020, in An Giang province, International Finance and Media Investment Joint Stock Company (MIF), a member of Sao Mai Group, held a ceremony to send interns to work in Japan. With nearly 100 trainees eligible for the first round, as soon as international flights were resumed, the company vibrantly restarted the new normal of manpower export market after a long time of disruption due to adverse impact of the Covid-19 pandemic.

Representatives from the An Giang Provincial People's Committee, Departments of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs from Mekong Delta provinces, job service centers and vocational colleges in An Giang, Dong Thap, Kien Giang, Can Tho, Vinh Long Ca Mau, Tra Vinh, Ben Tre and other localities attended the event. This was considered a very good start that would open up a promising wayout for many students, discharged soldiers and general workers seeking highly paid jobs in Japan.

Since its launch in 2018, MIF introduced interns to Japan for many times. After this time, from now until the end of the year, about 200 interns will wait to fly to Japan. Currently, the MIF Training Center is training language and skills for hundreds of students.

Given its multi-business advantages, Sao Mai Group established good relationships with strategic partners from Japan, Taiwan, South Korea and some European countries on a scale comparable to Sao Mai Group. Its member units are involved in many fields such as processing, importing and exporting agricultural and aquatic products, solar energy, financial investment, healthcare, pharmaceutical and software technology.

With that solid foundation, MIF is the only company in the Mekong Delta region licensed by the Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs to supply manpower without intermediaries. This is a great advantage for workers to trust and confidently pin hope to work abroad. MIF established the Tokyo Branch as a liaison contact and support address for all matters relating to this labor market. Under the motto: Professional - dedicated - responsible - effective, MIF will bring life-changing opportunities to workers in the Southwest in particular and in the country in general.

So after a long struggle with the Covid-19 epidemic outbreak and a likely global economic recession, many domestic and foreign businesses are competing for survival in a harsh context, especially on the labor export market, which seems to be inactive. The sending of 100 interns to Japan is expected to break the silence by MIF.
