Unilever Vietnam Receives Second-Class Labour Order
On April 27, 2005, in Hanoi, Unilever Vietnam celebrated ten years of business operation in Vietnam and was awarded the Second-class Labour Order by the Vietnam Government.
Unilever Vietnam started business operation in Vietnam in 1995, at present Unilever Vietnam has two joint ventures such as one is Lever Vietnam JV between Vinachem and the other is Univeler Bestfoods & Elida P/S. Unilever Vietnam has become one of the most successful foreign direct investment (FDI) enterprises in operation in Vietnam today. Every year, the company contributes VND2,000 billion to the State budget. It has created 6,000 jobs in the local job market.
