Amara Saigon Co-sponsors Futsal Championship

On May 19, 2005, at Amara Saigon Hotel, Ho Chi Minh city, a press conference was held on the 7^th FUTSAL Asian championship. The first championship was organised by AFC in 1999 with 8 teams. Iran dominated all the 6 championships and represented Asia in the world FUTSAL.

The championship will be organised in Vietnam for the first time from May 22 to June 4, 2005 in Ho Chi Minh city with the participation of 24 teams. Vietnam will participate the championship for the first time to give Vietnamese players and coaches the opportunities to learn from other teams.

Amara Saigon Hotel is co-sponsoring the championship together with Pepsico, Dong Luc, Sodex Toserco. Amara hotel will finance most of the expenses on lodging and catering for teams of Groups C and E.
