PM Okays New Economic Zone in Central Region

The Prime Minister has approved the establishment of the Nhon Hoi Economic Zone in the central province of Binh Dinh, reported the Tuoi Tre (Youth) daily newspaper.

Covering 12,000 hectares in the Phuong Mai Peninsular in Qui Nhon City, the Nhon Hoi Economic Zone will consist of a 545-hectare duty-free section and a 1,050-hectare duty section.

The duty-free section will include a port, an export processing zone and a customs warehouse. The duty section will include an industrial park, a power complex, a shipbuilding complex, Nhon Hoi Port and tourism facilities.
