Accelerating Agricultural, Forestry and Aquatic Export

The Government Office recently issued Official Letter 6802/VPCP-KTTH dated September 23, 2021 conveying opinions of Deputy Prime Minister Le Van Thanh on restoring export supply chains and speeding up agricultural, forest and aquatic export promotion after COVID-19.

Deputy Prime Minister Thanh requested People's Committees of centrally-run provinces and cities to base on analysis and assessment of export potential and prospects recommended by the Ministry of Industry and Trade; guide and support enterprises to boost production and restore local export supply chains to tap export market opportunities in the coming time; and urgently develop and implement a post-COVID-19 export promotion plan, with priority given to agricultural, forest and aquatic products.

The Ministry of Industry and Trade will work with the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development and relevant agencies to guide and support localities and enterprises to quickly restore export supply chains of agriculture, forestry and fisheries, develop and implement their post-COVID-19 export promotion plans.
