Herbalife Vietnam was honored to receive AmCham’s 2021 Corporate Social Responsibility Recognition Award on Dec 08, 2021 in Hanoi recognizing member companies with best practice CSR programs in Vietnam. Earlier, on Dec 02, 2021, Herbalife Vietnam was awarded AmCham Cares by Amcham Vietnam recognizing member companies’ contributions to the fight against COVID-19.
Now in its seventh year, AmCham’s CSR Recognition Award Program identifies and recognizes AmCham member companies that demonstrate an understanding of the linkages between business operations and society, and who conduct business in a way that creates both long-term economic and social value. This year’s awards recognize the action and commitment of many members who assisted Vietnam and the Vietnamese people during this challenging time.
Herbalife Vietnam has been proactive in many community support activities so far. The company carries out Casa Herbalife Nutrition Program to provide daily healthy meals to children in need. The program is helping about 1000 children in Vietnam access to good nutrition through 4 Casa Herbalife Nutrition Programs at Dong Tam Social Protection Center, Huong Duong Orphanage, Xa Dan Secondary School and HCMC Women’s Charity Association (WOCA). In 2020-2021, Herbalife Vietnam contributed over 4.8 billion to support the fight against COVID-19.
Independent Members and Employees of Herbalife Vietnam are among active volunteers for community support activities such as visiting and taking care of needy children, donating blood to help patients nationwide and making contributions to support the fight against COVID-19 and helping needy people.
Herbalife Vietnam was also listed in the top 100 sustainable businesses in Vietnam by VCCI in 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020 and 2021.
