Vietnam Determined to Prevent Corruption

The law of preventing corruption should deal with the corrupt behaviour of officials in state organisations, according to delegates in the Seminar about the law of preventing corruption held by Development Programme between UNDP and Government Inspector in Hanoi recently.

 

It is said that corruption only occurs in state organisations. Thus, preventing corruption in the state sector will positively affect the other sectors.

 

The most drastic solution to prevent corruption, said Mr. Dang Dinh Luyen, Vice Director of the Department of Law, is recurrently transferring positions of officials. The law of preventing corruption is expected to be approved by the eleventh Congress in the 8^th session at the end of the year.
