ILDEX to Open in Vietnam Next Year

The International Livestock and Dairy Expo (ILEX) will open in Ho Chi Minh City in March 2006, according to a briefing jointly held by the Vietnam National Trade Fair and Advertising Company, the Agriculture Department (the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development) and N.C.C Thailand Company. This is the first international trade fair for husbandry, animal feeds, breeding animals and state-of-the-art equipment and technology for husbandry and milk processing worldwide to be held in Vietnam.

 

Dr. Do Kim Tuyen, from the Agriculture Department, said this will be a good chance for Vietnam’s suppliers, farm owners, farmers, producers and traders of animal feeds to work with potential partners and sign commercial contracts. At the same time, Vietnamese enterprises will have exciting new opportunities to approach animal husbandry and milk processing technologies and have technologies transferred at the trade fair. In addition, many conferences on fowl management, milk production management, and animal feed management will also be held at the trade fair in order to advance the provisions and exchanges of IT and animal husbandry knowledge for Vietnamese enterprises. 

 

ILEX, which made its debut in 1993, is considered the most famous trade fair for animal and processing and rearing in Asia. This ILEX will attract the display and introduction of processing and slaughtering lines, fowl rearing techniques, animal feeds, egg processing and production, animal feed production, animal husbandry, veterinary medicines, breeding poultry and animals, packaging and conveyance, technology transfer, aquaculture and milk processing, etc. The trade fair is estimated to have 300 booths displaying domestic and foreign products.
