Vietnam Ends WTO negotiations with Egypt and Switzerland
According to Ministry of Trade, Deputy Minister of Trade Luong Van Tu and Ambassador of Egypt has officially signed the Agreement of bilateral negotiations between Vietnam and Egypt within the framework of Vietnam’s WTO entry in Geneva, Switzerland.
Egypt is an important economic partner of Vietnam in South Asia. The bilateral negotiation plays a remarkable role in improving the commercial relationship between the two countries and fostering the negotiating process of Vietnam’s WTO entry. Egypt promised to support Vietnam in the mutual negotiations to join the WTO soon.
Vietnam’s negotiating delegation in Geneva is making efforts to conclude negotiations with other countries. The delegation finished negotiations on goods with Norway and Switzerland, promoting negotiations about services with those two countries.
Vietnam has concluded bilateral negotiations with about 200 countries so far including all Asian and most European countries as EU, Bulgaria, Turkey, Ireland and Switzerland.
