Honouring Excellent Businesspeople 2005

Ho Chi Minh City’s Investment & Trade Promotion Centre (ITPC), Saigon Marketing newspaper and Club for Vietnamese high quality goods producers under the instruction of the Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee will co-operate with CNBC Asia Television in organising a television programme “Choosing Successful Businesspeople 2005”.

 

The programme aims at honouring outstanding and successful Vietnamese businesspeople, summing up their experiences for the young generation and raising the awareness of competition among business circles. It will also provide information for economic leaders and create favourable conditions for Vietnamese businesspeople to achieve success.

 

The audience will be made up of Vietnamese citizens who have been leaders of enterprise from all economic sectors since 2003. After investigating 700 enterprises, the organising committee will choose out 100 companies. To ensure accurate selection, the organising committee will base its decision on information collected from banks, the general taxation department and relevant labour organisations.

 

ITPC and the club and advisory experts will then analyse all the information before handing down results. This year, the organising committee will select 50-80 businesspeople having the highest points. CNBC Asia Pacific will organise an award granting ceremony for outstanding Vietnamese businesspeople 2005 and excellent businesspeople in Asia at the end of 2005.
