AEON Vietnam Officially Kicked Off the Event Series "AEON Ekiden 2022" in Hanoi

On July 31, 2022, AEON Vietnam officially kicked off the event series "AEON Ekiden - Joining a relay race, family have fun together" – including the relay race combined with the Vietnam-Japan cultural festival at AEON Ha Dong (Ha Noi). The event attracted thousands of families and young people to attend.

AEON Ekiden is a part of a gratitude activities on the 10th anniversary of AEON Vietnam. It is organized with a 3-site journey: starting in Hanoi in July 2022, continuing in Binh Duong in August 2022 and the last race in October 2022 in Ho Chi Minh City.

The opening event in the activities to celebrate AEON Vietnam's 10th anniversary was on July 23, 2022 at AEON Tan Phu Shopping Center (HCMC), when the Vietnam Record organization recognized for "Tallest Lantern Tower and Largest Lantern Painting in Vietnam". Right after, AEON Vietnam kicked off the next series of events – the “AEON Ekiden 2022” run at AEON Ha Dong Shopping Mall (Hanoi). Through these events, the company want to express the most sincere gratitude to all customers, local communities and stakeholders who have accompanied and supported AEON Vietnam during the past decade.

It is not only a mere sport activity, but also represents teamwork and people connection. This is the main message that AEON Vietnam wants to send through this activity. We wish to promote a healthy & happy lifestyle, as well as a spirit of cohesion in the local community, and between Vietnam and Japan in general. Accordingly, the AEON Ekiden event consists of 2 main activities: Relay race in the morning and Vietnam - Japan Cultural Festival in the afternoon.
