Within the Complex of Hue Monuments, you cannot ignore the Imperial City, a unique historical and cultural milestone. The Imperial City comprises the Imperial Palace and the Forbidden City with more than 100 architectural works built during the Nguyen Dynasty, having existed through twists and turns of Vietnamese feudal dynasties. This monument was recognized by UNESCO as a world cultural heritage nearly 30 years ago.
