Int'l Cruise Ships to Bring Nearly 10,000 Tourists to Central Vietnam

The coastal city of Nha Trang, a central tourism hub in Khanh Hoa province, is preparing to receive nearly 10,000 foreign visitors from four US flag carrier cruise ships in November and December.
 
First up will be, the Diamond Princess with nearly 2,900 tourists on board departing from Hong Kong. It will dock in Nha Trang on Thursday November 3.
 
Three other US cruise ships with more than 6,000 visitors on board are scheduled to dock on November 11, December 1 and 4, said local authorities at a meeting on Tuesday.
 
The capital city of Khanh Hoa province, 450 km north of Ho Chi Minh City, is well-known for its beautiful beaches, ideal scuba-diving, Po Nagar Cham towers, Long Son Pagoda, Hon Chong Promontory and Thap Ba hot springs. Nha Trang is home to several luxury resorts and the Ana Mandara Resort was recently named as the Best Asian Resort.
