Saigon Times Top 40 - 2005 Award

The Organising Committee of Saigon Times Top 40 - 2005 Award has organised a press conference introducing the selection of FDI enterprises in Binh Duong, Dong Nai, Ba Ria Vung Tau, Ho Chi Minh city. The prize is sponsored jointly by Saigon Times daily, Saigon Times weekly and local Departments of Planning and Investment. This year, apart from fundamental criteria of compliance of the law and percentage of disbursed capital, “enterprise vs. community” will be added for the selection. The new criteria shows the participation of concerned enterprises in the past five years.

 

The prize has been organised annually since 2003 to honour the goodwill and long-term business commitment of foreign investors in Vietnam. In 2004, prize winners were Samsung Vina, Sam Yang Vietnam, BP pipeline Vietnam BV, Phu My 3 BOT Power, Sun Steel, Uni President, Vina Star Motors, CP Vietnam Livestock, Formosa, Fujitsu, and Vedan.
