In the Month of Action for Children 2023, Generali Vietnam Life Insurance LLC (“Generali Vietnam”) collaborated with The National Fund for Vietnamese Children (NFVC) to officially launch the “Sức khỏe trao Mình – Trường mới trao Em” fundraising campaign (Health for us – School for kids). The campaign aims to build and renovate a branch school of Son Ca kindergarten in Mo O Commune, Dkrong District, Quang Tri Province. In addition, Generali Vietnam has also implemented various other community initiatives to actively contribute to the care, education and comprehensive development of Vietnamese children.

In Vietnam, with such a good cause to support and creative implementation, the campaign has received tremendous support and participation from Generali’s staff and agents, as well as their friends, families and the wider community.
The campaign sets dual objectives: fundraising VND 500 million to build the school via sports challenges and encouraging a healthy and active lifestyle for participants. All fund raised will be transferred to the NFVC to implement the building of a new, safe, clean and well-equipped branch school of Son Ca kindergarten in Mo O Commune, Dkrong District, Quang Tri Province. The school benefits 75 vulnerable Van Kieu children (2-5 years of age). This is the third year in a row Generali Vietnam has collaborated with NFVC to raise fund to support disadvantaged children via The Human Safety Net’s Global Challenge initiative.

Also in June, Generali Vietnam, NFVC, The National Fund for Vietnamese Children in Dien Bien and People's Committee of Dien Bien Dong District has completed the building of a new kitchen at Ban Mai kindergarten, Xa Dung Commune, Dien Bien Dong District, Dien Bien Province for 83 disadvantaged children aged 3-6. Funding of the project comes from Generali Vietnam’s annual fundraising program organised at the beginning of this year.
Mr. Dinh Tien Hai, Director of the NFVC, remarked: “We are pleased to be able to have such construction projects quickly accomplished and put into operation for the needy kids. We are very impressed with Generali’s various children projects not only because of their innovative approaches but also the high level of engagement and involvement of their staff and agents. We look forward to enhancing our longstanding and trusted partnership to meet our mutual goal of promoting the care, protection and education of Vietnamese children.”

Generali Vietnam’s community activities in the Month of Action for Children 2023 also include the reignition of the parenting program “Sinh Con, Sinh Cha” across provinces and cities of Vietnam. The most recent workshop in Dong Anh, Hanoi benefited nearly 700 parents, children, as well as teachers and staff of Tuoi Tho and Uy No kindergartens discussing popular parenting topics such as early education for children with the example of learning about money, handling children’s tantrum behaviors, and protecting children against physical and psychological abuses. “Sinh Con, Sinh Cha” will arrive in Quang Ngai province for the first time by the end of June and other provinces in the second half of the year.

In addition, Generali Vietnam also organized various engaging activities as part of the “Song Nhu Y” campaign such as: “Săn heo tuổi thơ – Nhận quà bất ngờ”, "Góp chút quà nhỏ, Mở niềm vui to", and the Family Day program “Cho Con Một Vé Sống Như Ý” for children & families in 3 big cities and remote areas of 6 provinces across the country. With the aim to help adults and children celebrate and appreciate precious childhood memories, the campaign distributes gifts and organizes engaging activities such as reading, coloring, archery, watching plays, donating books, comics, stationeries…
