From Wild Land to Solar Power Field

From the low-yielding rice land, the land of An Hao - Tinh Bien district, An Giang has transformed into a modern solar power field. This place is currently the headquarters of the first and most modern solar power plant in the Southwest region.

An Hao solar power plant was built from the determination to revive the "sacred land" right at the foot of Cam mountain. It is also because of this "sacred land" that the construction process encountered many difficulties. It stems from an immovable stone block in the shape of a right hand in a vowing position that people call Buddha hand.

But it is also from the spiritual belief that the investor has worked with a high sense of responsibility and rapid progress in the construction process and does not make any mistakes, even the smallest.

Currently, the Buddha Hand-shaped stone block is embellished to become a tourist attraction. It attracts many tourists to admire a masterpiece of the supernatural.

In the midst of the sacred place, it is clear that such a work is bringing a very unique impression. Taking full advantage of the long dry season and high heat, Sao Mai solar power plant is operating at full capacity to provide clean electricity, contributing to ensuring the national energy security strategy in the present and in the future.

This place is surrounded by a tropical garden interwoven with thousands of roses, bougainvillea and hydrangea... swaying in the wind. Thien Canh lake gets its water from the upstream in the center with a cool emerald color. The entire area is planned like a paradise on the semi-mountain area. Lost in the entrance to the sightseeing area, it allows us to think of a 3-star resort in the solar power field.

The location of the factory is located at the foot of the massive Cam mountain, protected by the roof of the West with an altitude of 716 meters. The field of batteries, seen from afar, looks like rows of magic flutes in the wind and reflecting the light of the endless blue sky.

The change of a land is most evident in the connected transport infrastructure. In the past, An Hao commune, Tinh Bien district, from a locality with no roads, seemed to be lonely among the surrounding mountains and clouds. It has now been bustling with caravans from everywhere to Bay Nui, one after another on Provincial Road 948.

The arterial tourist traffic route of the Bay Nui region is increasingly being invested in a spacious and smooth manner. And the appearance of An Hao Solar Park integrated in Sao Mai Solar means the beginning of a new phase of an unprecedented high-tech tourism model.
