Despite being strongly affected by the COVID-19 pandemic and the global economic recession, Maruichi Sun Steel Hanoi has achieved steady growth in revenue and profit. In 2022, the company produced more than 15,000 tons of steel of all kinds, generating VND490 billion in revenue and more than VND80 billion in pre-tax profit. It contributed more than VND85 billion to the State budget and provided stable jobs for 120 employees with an average income of more than VND8 million per person per month.
This success has motivated Maruichi Sun Steel Hanoi to continue expanding its operations, increasing output, revenue, and profit, contributing more to the local budget, and actively participating in environmental protection.
Maruichi Sun Steel Hanoi Co., Ltd recognizes that environmentally friendly development is a responsibility to the community and society, and a necessary condition in the signing of trade agreements. It is also the key to integration and sustainable development. Therefore, in production and business, Maruichi Sun Steel Hanoi is committed to environmental protection. Since its inception in 2008, the company has applied cleaner production processes, saving energy in production, and contributing to increased productivity and product quality. Along with that, Maruichi Sun Steel Hanoi has invested in the construction of industrial wastewater treatment works, domestic wastewater, and dust collection systems. In production, the company has minimized the use of substances harmful to the environment, ensuring strict compliance with environmental standards and regulations. In addition, Maruichi Sun Steel Hanoi regularly reviews, amends and supplements regulations on environmental protection to ensure that they are suitable for actual conditions. At the same time, it has promoted propaganda and education on knowledge of occupational safety and environmental protection for employees. The company’s Board of Directors monitors, evaluates, grades, and takes environmental protection into account as one of the criteria to rank task completion and reward emulation.

Maruichi Sun Steel Hanoi is a wholly owned subsidiary of Maruichi Sun Steel Joint Stock Company (SUNSCO), specializing in manufacturing and supplying Japanese quality steel pipe products to customers in Vietnam and for export. In the period of 2022-2025, Maruichi Sun Steel Hanoi sets a sales volume target of 15,000 tons/year; maintaining a stable labor force of 120 people, while increasing income for employees by 8-10% per year. Besides ensuring labor safety, environmental protection is one of the indispensable tasks to ensure the sustainable development of the company.
In the coming time, Maruichi Sun Steel Hanoi plans to invest in new machines and technologies to improve productivity and product quality.
