Regional Seminar on "Challenges and Opportunities in the Fight against Counterfeits"

In order to help Vietnam keep stable development and improve the quality of international trade, especially when the country enters the WTO, France proposed opening a regional seminar titled “Challenges and Opportunities in the Fight against Counterfeits” in Hanoi from November 14 to 15.

 

Chaired by the Central Steering Committee for the Prevention of Smuggling and Trade Fraud, the seminar will gather factors related to counterfeits, smuggling and trade frauds from such countries as France, Vietnam, Laos, Thailand and Cambodia, state authorities such as market watchdogs, intellectual property authorities, economic policemen and customs offices, and enterprises.

 

The experience of attending countries in fighting against counterfeits will be exchanged at the seminar.
