Vietnam Sets up Commercial Affairs Office in Guang Zhou, China
Vietnam has recently opened a commercial section at in southern Guangzhou city of China aiming to boost trade activities with Guangdong province and its neighboring localities.
The Commercial Session Consulate General is located in the Guangzhou World Plaza on Huanshi Dong road.
Vietnam and China posted two-way trade of US$7.2 billion last year, according to the Vietnamese government’s statistics. The figure is expected to climb to $10 billion before 2010.
Ranking as the 15th biggest investor in Vietnam, China has so far poured nearly US$700 million into 322 projects in the country.
