To continue speeding up trade promotion activities and boosting exports of processed food and agricultural products to the European market, and creating business opportunities for Vietnam and EU enterprises, the Trading and Services Company (TSC) under the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI), in cooperation with the German Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Mess Berlin Company, to organize a delegation of enterprises to attend the “International Green Week Berlin” and Foodstuff and Agriculture Exhibition in Germany from January 13 to January 22, 2006.
The displays will include International foods and luxury items; Fresh produce of all kinds; Beer, wine, and spirits; Meats and sausages; Seafood; Teas, herbs, and spices; Agricultural and horticultural equipment, machinery, and fixtures; Seed; Greenhouses and; gardening supplies; Breeding stock; Appliances and fixtures for the kitchen and household, and others.
The International Green Week Berlin is one of prestigious international exhibition that has taken place for 71 times since 1926. In 2006, the event is expected to lure around 1,600 exhibitors on an area of 114,000 sq.m, and more than 440,000 commercial visitors.
In addition, the Vietnamese business delegation will have meetings and direct talks with EU trade promotion and support organizations and Germany’s large-scale agricultural product import and export companies which pay attention to import agricultural products from Vietnam. Vietnam will also have four pavilions at the exhibition.
