Vietnam-ASEAN Trade Fair 2005

The Vietnam-ASEAN Trade Fair 2005 took place on November 16-20, 2005 at Phu Tho Sport Hall, HCM City, with 250 stalls from Vietnamese, ASEAN, Japan and Korean companies with the aims of promoting economic cooperation and trade relations in the region.

 

On display were products of industry, agriculture, consumer commodities, equipment, materials, competitive items and even investment projects.

 
On the same occasion, Departments of ASEAN and Multilateral Economic Cooperation (Ministry of Foreign Affairs), Ministry of Trade and Vietnam Administration of Tourism sponsored a seminar “ASEAN economic integration: Opportunities and challenges to Vietnamese businesses”. The participants made several recommendations, solutions and shared experiences on economic integration and cooperation with the countries in the region.

In addition, the CAT company organised a competition “Vietnamese students in the process of integration” to encourage the contribution of the students to the economic integration process.
