Corporate Social Responsibilities Introduced into Education
The German Technical Cooperation Agency (GTZ) on December 22, 2005 organized a workshop in cooperation with University of Labor and Social Affairs (ULSA) to assess the implementation of a project on Corporate Social Responsibilities (CSR).
The project aims at introducing the CSR issues to lecturers of ULSZ with a focus on principles of behavior, the effects of CSR appliances, training courses of CSR, and completion of CSR subjects.
With assistance from Quasei Company, the project has already given as many as three training courses to more than 85 lecturers, who are in charge of teaching enterprise-related subjects, from May to December, 2005. Five of whom are key lecturers.
The project has already opened a workshop on CSR and completed a 200-page subject in October. The project meanwhile gave training courses to as many as 20 students at Labor Management Department. The CSR has been integrated into such subjects as Business Management, Labor Law, Salary and Wage, Labor Protection, Social Insurance, and Labor Arrangement.
According to Dr. Le Thanh Ha, Dean of the Faculty of Labor Management, the project have successfully been implemented and proved to be highly sustainable.
