· Gross domestic product (GDP) increases 7.5 per cent per year

· Sector structure in GDP: agriculture, 20.7 per cent; industry and construction, 40.8 per cent and services, 38.5 per cent

· Production value of agriculture, forestry and aqua-culture, up 5.5 per cent; industry and construction, up 15.7 per cent; services, up 7.6 per cent

· Total export turnover: up 17 per cent

· Birth rate reduced by 0.04 per cent; population growth rate in 2005: 1.37 per cent

· Jobs created for 7.5 million people;

· 85 per cent of children at primary secondary school age go to school while 50 per cent at senior secondary school age attend classes;

· Poor households rate declines to under at 7 per cent

· Children under-five suffering malnutrition reduces to 25 per cent; average life expectancy reaches 71.3

· Safe water supplied to 62 per cent of rural people.
