Nissan Makes Official Appearance in Vietnam
Nissan Motor Co. has made its official appearance in Vietnam by naming the local Van Tan Co. to be its sole distributor in the country.
Van Tan Co., located at 54 Kim Ma Street, Ba Dinh District, Hanoi, will sell Nissan cars, genuine spare parts and after-sales services, said Nguyen Van Tan, director of the company said.
Nissan chose Van Tan Co. via Denmark's DANIDA project to help Vietnamese small and medium enterprises, Tan said.
Major customers of Van Tan Co. are embassies, international organizations, ODA projects and foreigners in Vietnam, who enjoy tax free privileges, and local buyers who love Nissan cars.
Van Tan Co. is also acting as an agent for Mercedes-Benz and Honda.
