At the same time, industrial promotion and sustainable consumption programs will be implemented more strongly with the support of businesses and people.
In particular, according to Resolution 04-NQ/TU of the Provincial Party Committee, Hau Giang prioritizes investment in four areas: Industry, agriculture, urbanization and tourism. This is identified as a strategic breakthrough and a leverage to bolster socioeconomic development to draw more non-state investment funds and create a driving force to promote sustainable socioeconomic development. Tenants in industrial parks are encouraged to invest in the following industries: Food processing, consumer goods, deep agricultural processing, pharmaceuticals, chemicals and medicinal materials, electronics, renewable energy, supporting industries and logistics services. Projects with modern eco-friendly advanced technologies are also encouraged.
Ha Giang province also attracts infrastructure investors for Nga Bay Logistics Center in Tan Thanh Industrial Complex (15-30 ha) and Vi Thanh Logistics Center in Tan Tien Warehouse and Wharf Industrial Complex (10-15 ha). The province also attracts investors to invest and develop commercial infrastructure and build an agricultural wholesale market in Nga Bay City, the Hau Giang Trade Center in Vi Thanh City, and the Exhibition Fair and Trade Promotion Center in Nga Bay City.
