Tens of Thousands of Tourists visit Tam Dao During the Holidays

During the April 30 - May 1 holiday, Tam Dao town welcomed about 50,000 visitors.

Mr. Nguyen Duy Dung, Chairman of the People's Committee of Tam Dao town (Tam Dao district, Vinh Phuc province) said that this year's holiday, the locality is expected to welcome about 50,000 visitors. Of which, guests with accommodation needs account for about 30,000 - 40,000.

To meet the increased number of visitors, nearly 200 accommodation establishments, hotels, restaurants, and homestays in the area have been mobilized to maximum capacity, while at the same time strengthening inspection and supervision to ensure service quality.

Tam Dao town currently has nearly 200 restaurants, hotels, motels, and homestays with more than 6,000 rooms. Sharing from a hotel owner in Tam Dao: the number of guests registering to stay at the hotel is quite large, the room occupancy rate is likely to reach over 95%.

Tam Dao town is known as the world's leading tourist destination with a fresh, cool climate. The highlight of the series of activities during the holiday is the special art program held on the evening of April 30 at the town's central square, celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification.

The program brings together many famous artists, bringing unique and emotional music and dance performances, honoring the spirit of patriotism and national pride. In addition, the colorful low-altitude fireworks display on the night of the festival created a vibrant and impressive atmosphere amidst the magical Tam Dao mountains and forests.
The number of tourists visiting and relaxing at Tam Dao tourist area has been increasing steadily in recent years. Tam Dao Town People's Committee has also developed a plan to regulate and divide traffic at hot spots such as the Central Square, Ba Chua Thuong Ngan Temple, May Bridge, etc.

At Tam Dao Park and the walking street area, cultural exchange programs are organized with the participation of famous artists and singers. These will be vibrant music playgrounds, bringing visitors rich experiences in the middle of the poetic mountain forest space.
