With the “Innovation - Efficiency - Sustainability” motto, Vietcombank Hai Phong has carried out many preferential financial policies for businesses, especially small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), FDI firms and companies in key industrial, export and high-tech sectors.
To meet the diverse needs of businesses, Vietcombank Hai Phong has launched many preferential lending programs like lending five priority sectors with an interest rate of only 4%; providing interest support for certain companies according to Decree 31 of the Government; launching thank-you lending policies with an interest rate lower than 0.5-1% from the universal rate; organizing more than 14 policy consulting and communication conferences to introduce financial products, legal regulations and preferential opportunities to businesses.
Vietcombank Hai Phong also actively supports FDI firms by attending tax policy conferences with South Korean companies, joining the “Green transformation in industrial parks” workshop and taking part in business dialogues on solutions to difficulties faced by businesses.
Notably, from 2023, the branch is honored to be the only bank siding with the Hai Phong Economic Zone Authority in the foreign investment promotion program, aiming to enhance the image of Vietcombank and introduce effective financial solutions to international investors.

In the digital age, keeping up with technological trends is vital for both banks and businesses. Vietcombank Hai Phong takes the lead in investing in digital banking, not only helping customers save time and cut costs, but also ensuring safety and efficiency in all transactions.
In early 2025, Vietcombank officially launched online disbursement products, provided comprehensive digital experiences: Online loan applications, digital signatures anytime, anywhere, and transparent and instant information control. In addition, the bank has modern electronic services such as VCB Digibiz, VCB CashUp and VCB IB@nking for businesses.
In the cashless payment trend, the bank has also continuously improved e-wallet, QR code, internet banking and mobile banking platforms to meet consumers’ and businesses’ requirements for convenient and fast payments.

“With a strategic approach consistent with the entire Vietcombank system, Vietcombank Hai Phong aims to further expand the scope of business support and maintain its role as a key financial support in the northern key economic region. The main goals include maintaining competitive interest rates to reduce the cost burden for businesses; promoting comprehensive digital transformation to enable paperless banking without space and time limits; financing key infrastructure projects to empower the city's urban, logistics and industrial development; expanding foreign relations, supporting businesses to connect with South Korea, China, Taiwan (China) and other markets through investment and trade promotion programs," Hung added.
Working towards sustainable development, Vietcombank Hai Phong focuses on financing green projects: From providing preferential loans for companies investing in clean technology and renewable energy to supporting green loans (according to VietGAP, GlobalGAP, OCOP and eco-label standards). The VND2,000 billion green credit package is widely deployed, along with transparent communications on access conditions to help borrowers more actively prepare their sustainable development plans.
Moreover, the branch is committed to engaging in the city’s social security programs. In 2024 alone, it spent VND2.046 billion on social charity like awarding scholarships to students of Hai Phong University, Hai Phong Medical University, and other local schools; presenting gifts to poor families with recognized service to the nation; supporting people affected by Typhoon Yagi; and presenting gifts to disadvantaged students in Dien Bien province.
