CN2 Industrial Cluster, invested by ASG Infrastructure and Industrial Zone Development Company Limited (ASGI) - a member of ASG Corporation, was officially kicked off construction on June 23. This event not only marked a major development milestone in ASG Corporation’s strategy but also opened the third key pillar in its service ecosystem after logistics services and aviation services, enabling it to complete a modern industrial space.

Vietnam Business Forum has an interview with Mr. Truong Minh Hoang, Acting General Director of ASG Corporation and General Director of ASGI, about his major expectations for this project.

Could you introduce ASG Corporation and its industrial infrastructure development orientations and goals?

ASG operates in three core sectors: logistics services, airport and aviation services, and industrial zone infrastructure investment and development. The Corporation currently has 22 subsidiaries with over 2,000 employees. In 2024, its consolidated revenue reached nearly VND2,000 billion and its total assets exceeded VND3,000 billion. With a service network spanning across the country, ASG is a trusted partner of many high-tech manufacturers, international airlines, and major logistics brands.

Founded in 2019, ASGI, a subsidiary of ASG Corporation, is tasked to implement the corporation’s strategy in industrial and logistics infrastructure investment and operation. ASGI aims to become a professional and sustainable industrial infrastructure developer and a reliable partner for customer businesses. The company focuses on modern manufacturing technologies, clean and environmentally friendly solutions while seeking to generate employment and contributing to the country’s industrialization and modernization.

The CN2 Industrial Cluster investment project not only fulfills those goals but also plays a strategic role in the corporation’s service supply chain. Could you elaborate on this?

Located in Soc Son Commune (formerly Mai Dinh Commune, Soc Son District), Hanoi City, CN2 Industrial Cluster has a total investment of nearly VND1,000 billion and spans 50.59 ha, with 46.9 ha allocated for industrial cluster development.

This is a multi-sector cluster. Once operational, it will enhance the local industrial share and promote a green, clean, modern ecosystem. The project is expected to create approximately 4,500 jobs, contribute to social welfare and increase incomes for people.

CN2 Industrial Cluster is ASG Corporation’s first infrastructure development project and a significant milestone that completes its service ecosystem - adding a third pillar after logistics and aviation services.

With a synchronized master plan and modern infrastructure that integrates green, clean, and sustainable standards, CN2 Industrial Cluster is designed to attract manufacturers utilizing modern, clean technologies in sectors such as aviation industry and services, supporting industries, and more. It also serves subsidiaries within ASG’s ecosystem like ASG Logistics and ASG Aviation Services as well as luring local manufacturers.

Additionally, CN2 Industrial Cluster affirms ASG Corporation’s multisector expansion strategy - from completing its service ecosystem to shaping a model industrial space. With clear legal foundations, synchronized infrastructure, and large scale, the cluster is expected to generate stable long-term revenue and contribute to the corporation’s sustainable growth. It also supports the dual goal of localizing supply chains and globalizing trade connectivity.

What advantages does CN2 Industrial Cluster offer to attract secondary investors? Would you tell us about its investment attraction strategy for the upcoming time?

CN2 Industrial Cluster has a “golden location”, lying close key transportation hubs: 5km from Noi Bai International Airport, 30km from downtown Hanoi, and about 120km from Hai Phong Port. It is also well-connected to major industrial production complexes such as Samsung Bac Ninh (23km) and Samsung Thai Nguyen (30km), offering strong supply chain connectivity and investment appeal.

The project features a fully developed synchronous technical infrastructure of high standards. Its internal transport system includes a main road with a 35m cross-section directly connected to Provincial Road 131, and internal roads ranging from 10m to 30m wide, ensuring smooth traffic flows. Each industrial plot has a minimum area of 2,000 square meters, a maximum construction density of 70%, and building height up to 35m, hence optimizing land use efficiency.

What’s more, the architecture inside CN2 Industrial Cluster is rationally designed, integrating smart management solutions and energy-saving options to create a “green - clean - modern” environment. The cluster features underground low-voltage power cables, a modern wastewater treatment plant with a daily capacity of up to 1,250 cubic meters, and AI-powered lighting and surveillance systems.

Importantly, aside from leasing land to investors, ASG Corporation spares a certain land fund for its own warehousing facilities to provide optimal logistics services. The project is well positioned to connect with services at Noi Bai International Airport and other ASG service points.

Designed to be a model industrial cluster, CN2 Industrial Cluster gives priority to attracting investment projects with modern, green, and clean technologies and low environmental impact. Target industries include aviation manufacturing and services, logistics, support services for Noi Bai International Airport, mechanical assembly, electronics, industrial equipment manufacturing, processing and manufacturing, and supporting industries. Therefore, the project is expected not only to increase tax revenue for the State Budget but also to help restructure the economy and form a modern industrial growth hub in the northern gateway of the capital.

What are the goals and progress timeline of CN2 Industrial Cluster and the commitments of ASG Corporation to supporting investors?

CN2 Industrial Cluster has completed all investment-related legal procedures and officially broke ground on June 23, 2025. It is expected to go into operation in the third or fourth quarter of 2026. ASG Corporation and ASGI are committed to mobilizing all available resources and implementing the project synchronously so as to exceed the proposed schedule.

ASG Corporation deeply values the support and guidance from local authorities and agencies. To ensure the project progress, the corporation hopes to further receive strong support from all levels of government and the consensus of the local community during infrastructure construction and investment promotion.

ASGI is currently conducting market research and evaluation. Besides incentives provided by law, the corporation is committed to supporting investors with legal procedures, land leasing, and in-depth consulting. It will also help optimize operating costs, promote digital transformation, and enhance productivity and competitiveness.
