Vietnam Economic Portal Brought into Operation

Vietnam economic portal (VNEP) has been officially brought into operation on the following website www.vnep.org.vn. The portal has been established by the Central Institute of economic Management (Ministry of Planning and Investment) with the support from Danida Project – the Embassy of Denmark. VNEP has been designed and constructed based on NET technology. The portal complies with the Standard of Web Services for Remote Portals (WSRP) announced by OASIS.. Standing Deputy Minister of Planning and Investment, Mr. Tran Dinh Khien said that VNEP consists of all function as a portal whose form and scope of activities are more abundant and extensive than a website. VNEP collects news and information about Vietnam’s economic development and renewal, conducting public research on Vietnam’s economy conducted by experts both in Vietnam and abroad, acting as a forum for policy-makers, experts and people who are interest presenting and exchanging ideas.

 

VNEP is currently designed as a Web-interface, and presents a broad array of major subjects including Market development, International economic development, Industrialisation and modernisation, Sustainable development, Development of enterprises, Administrative reform, Legal documents, Official Governmental reports and Research works on Vietnam’s economy conducted by Institutes, research organisations and experts in Vietnam and abroad.
