Following its successful debut in Ho Chi Minh City in August, Archify Live 2025, themed “Eco-Friendly Architecture: Building a Sustainable Future,” continued its nationwide tour in Hanoi on November 21.
Bringing together a broad spectrum of professionals across the built-environment ecosystem, including developers, architects, contractors, consultants, material manufacturers, and technology providers, the Hanoi edition reinforced the event’s position as a key industry platform driving sustainable transformation.

More than a conventional exhibition, Archify Live bridges real-world project demands with design thinking and technological innovation, promoting meaningful conversations around green solutions in Vietnam’s path toward its Net Zero by 2050 commitment.
With its integrated model of exhibition, networking, and technical forums, Archify Live is recognized as one of the industry’s most practice-driven platforms, capturing the evolving trends in design, materials, and technology shaping Vietnam’s construction landscape.
This year in Hanoi, the event received strong support from over 30 leading industry companies including Anh Duong Building, Archetype Group, ARDOR Architects, Baumschlager Eberle Architekten, Coteccons, EAW, FVA, Gamuda Land Vietnam, GreenViet, IFC Vietnam, Indochina Kajima, INFINITY Design, LMP Design, MH Architects, Sendecor, TT-Associates, Tuan Le Construction, Vertical Studio, VPC, among others.
Exhibiting brands showcased high-performance building solutions across categories such as sustainable materials, advanced coatings, sanitary products, performance glass, water-treatment systems, and construction technologies, reflecting the industry’s commitment to improved building quality and long-term sustainability.
Panel discussion: Sustainable architecture as a necessary shift
A highlight of the program was the panel discussion moderated by Architect Vu Linh Quang, Managing Director of ARDOR Architects, featuring panelists from Gamuda Land Vietnam, FVA – French Vietnamese Architects, Anh Duong Building, IFC Vietnam, Cat Tuong, and Kolor Ceramics.

Experts emphasized that environmental-friendly architecture is moving from a “trend” to an “industry imperative” as Vietnam advances toward Net Zero.
Mr. Quang noted that sustainable outcomes can only be achieved when the vision begins with the developer and is realized through well-integrated design, efficient materials, smart technology, and coherent operational processes. As he stated, “A construction ecosystem can only be truly sustainable when every stakeholder aligns and collaborates.”
Speakers also highlighted the rising shift toward certified materials, energy-saving solutions, and renewable technology applications. While cost and market awareness remain obstacles, alignment between developers, designers, suppliers, and contractors is viewed as the critical cornerstone for Vietnam’s green transition.
Long-term perspectives on sustainable design
Beyond the panel, Archify Live Hanoi 2025 featured specialized presentations from leading design firms.
In his session “Resonating Values for Sustainable Development”, Architect Le Truong, Chairman of TT-Associates and Chairman of the Vietnam Interiors Association, emphasized that genuine contributions to sustainability require not only expertise but also opportunities - or the willingness to create them - through real green projects.
From TT-Associates’ project experiences (2021–2025), he stressed that the greatest challenge lies in convincing developers with measurable environmental indicators. Sustainable value becomes meaningful only when supported by real data and driven by the people directly implementing the work. He also underscored the need for supportive policies to foster wider adoption of green building practices.
Taking a lifetime-design approach, Architect Cung Thanh Dat, CEO and Partner at Baumschlager Eberle Architekten, introduced the firm’s building-life-cycle framework “200 100 50 20 10,” referring respectively to: 10 years (functional flexibility); 20 years (building services); 50 years (façade durability); 100 years (structural integrity); 200+ years (community-aligned longevity). His perspective highlights the intrinsic relationship between architecture, human needs, and long-term sustainability.
Technology Forums: Practical innovations for green buildings
At the event, four technology-sharing sessions brought practical, high-application solutions to the audience: Chua Qing (Hempel) – “Importance and Durability of Intumescent Coating with Case Studies”; Robert Ang Fu Kuan (Vital Technical Malaysia) – “Formulated for the Future Sustainability, Technology, Aesthetics — Perfectly Sealed”; Nguyen Thanh Tinh (SFA Pumps) – “Revolutionary Drainage Technology for Building Design”; Oh Eu Jin Conrad (Industrial Links International) – “Nature’s Blueprint for Resilience: Hydrorock and the Future of Urban Water Management”.
These sessions showcased how technology is increasingly becoming a central driver in the green-building transition.
Exhibition & Networking: A dynamic experience
The exhibition zone attracted strong interest with its showcase of finishing materials, protective coatings, sanitary innovations, performance glass, water-treatment technologies, and construction solutions. Alongside the displays, networking activities and a lively lucky draw contributed to a vibrant, well-connected atmosphere throughout the event.
Archify Live 2025 in Hanoi concluded on a high note, continuing the momentum set in Ho Chi Minh City. The collaboration among developers, design firms, contractors, consultants, material suppliers, and technology providers reinforced Archify Live’s position as a trusted industry platform—one that contributes meaningfully to shaping a sustainable, efficient, and future-ready construction landscape in Vietnam.
