On May 13, 2026, at Phuoc An Port, Saigon Newport Corporation (SNP), in coordination with Phuoc An Port, successfully held the customer conference titled “Forward Together – Embracing New Era,” attended by representatives from management agencies, logistics associations, leaders of both organizations, and more than 300 shipping lines, customers, and partners.

Appreciation extended to shipping lines and business partners that have contributed to the growth of the Saigon Newport and Phuoc An ecosystem over the past period

The conference was not only a milestone marking more than one year of cooperation between Saigon Newport Corporation and Petro Vietnam Phuoc An Port Investment & Operation Joint Stock Company (PAP), with many positive results achieved, but also an opportunity for both sides to express sincere appreciation and gratitude to the shipping lines, customers, and partners who have continuously placed their trust in the partnership and contributed to sustainable development over the past period.

Following its transition into a centrally governed city, Dong Nai has many advantages to accelerate its development into a leading industrial and logistics center in southern Vietnam and is expected to join with Ho Chi Minh City in forming a “dual megacity.” Speaking at the conference, Nguyen Ngoc Thuc, Head of the Investment and Trade Division under the Dong Nai Department of Industry and Trade, said Dong Nai has one of the country’s largest economies and industrial park systems, along with strategic infrastructure receiving strong investment, including Long Thanh Airport, expressways, ring roads, and logistics corridors connecting Cai Mep and Thi Vai. Dong Nai is gradually developing an integrated logistics network for the region. The growth of Dong Nai’s logistics ecosystem not only benefits businesses but also contributes to regional supply chain and economic development.

Alongside these advantages, connections between seaports, industrial parks, and supply chains in Dong Nai still face bottlenecks related to infrastructure, logistics procedures, and coordination across the supply chain. The conference introduced solutions including administrative reforms, improvements in policy mechanisms, and the development of inland waterway transport to strengthen import and export cargo connectivity and improve business competitiveness. At the same time, customs authorities reaffirmed their commitment to supporting businesses, promptly resolving difficulties, and coordinating with partners across the logistics chain to build a more modern, integrated, and efficient ecosystem.
