China-Vietnam Economic Round Table

A Round Table was organised in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City for the development of economic and trade relations between Janchiang (Guangdong, China) and Vietnam. The Chinese delegation of 50 members was led by Mr Hsu Ciaohoa, Party Secretary and Mr Yuan Risheng, Deputy Mayor of Janchiang. The discussion focused on the promotion of economic and trade relations. While 16 enterprises of the two countries have concluded several agreements valued at nearly US$200 million including US$140 million for harbour project, US$30 million for Vietnamese coal and US$5.75 million for Chinese motorbikes.

 

According to experts, Janchiang has great advantages in seaports and economic growth, an important bridge head for China-ASEAN trade.
