German Ambassador Visited Well-equipped Laboratory in HCM City

On 16^th May, 2006, German Ambassador Dr. Christian-Ludwig Weber-Lortsch together with the German Consul General Dr. Hans-Peter Seidel and the Chairman of the German Business Association (GBA) Alex Bischoff visited the newly established Testing Laboratories of TÜV Rheinland Group at Quang Trung Software Park, HCM city.

This new facility which has just opened will provide an extensive range of testing services for different kinds of consumer products (footwear, textile, leather, packaging material, toys, RoHS (for electronics) and products in direct contact with food (e.g. food container).

 

According to Klaus Ehret, General Director of TÜV Rheinland Vietnam, the new laboratory testing services will help the exporting industry to ensure that their products meet the legal requirements of the respective country or region (EU, North America, Asia incl. Japan, etc.).and meet the ever increasing and stringent compliance standards imposed throughout the world.

 

In addition TÜV offers also numerous testing services for various consumer products based on Vietnamese standards (TCVN) and internationally recognized standards like ISO, EN, DIN, BS, ASTM, etc.
