APEC Financial Expert Seminar Opens in Central Province
APEC Financial Expert Seminar was opened on June 14-16 in Nha Trang City to review the APEC financial cooperation process and Vietnam's preparations for the APEC Finance Ministerial Meeting (FMM).
The seminar drew the participation of nearly 90 delegates from 21 APEC member economies and three international financial organizations, including the International Monetary Fund (IMF), World Bank (WB) and the Asian Development Bank (ADB).
Financial experts exchanged views on microeconomic and financial reforms, discussed plans for the coming time as well as recommendations for improving the outcome of the next FMM.
The meeting also heard the working group's reports on reviewing the operations of the APEC financial cooperation process and proposals to promote liberalization and the facilitation of trade and investment. VNA, Pioneer
