VINATEX Fully Equitised

 At a press conference in Ho Chi Minh city last week, Mr Le Quoc An, Chairman of Vietnam Textile & Garment Corporation (Vinatex) announced that this year equitisation will be completed in companies Viet Tien Garment, Thang Loi Textile Dong A Textile, Dong Phuong Knitwear, Vietnam Cotton. In 2007, the equitisation will continue in such companies as Phong Phu Textile, Nam Dinh Textile, Hanoi Textile, etc.

There will be only 10 member companies with dominating shares operating as a small corporation. By 2008, the parental company of Vinatex will be equitised to turn Vinatex in to a group of multi-ownership.
