26 AOTS 2006 Scholarships for Vietnamese IT Engineers

With its great efforts, the Vietnam Software Association (Vinasa) obtained 26 scholarships AOTS 2006 for Vietnamese IT engineers out of a total 30 scholarships for the whole Southeast Asian region.

The AOTS 2006 scholarship is provided by the Government of Japan for Southeast Asian nations. Each year, the Southeast Asia receives some 30 scholarships. Each beneficiary is granted some US$30,000 for his/her entire 6-month course in Japan. Trainees will also be taught Japanese and working style in Japanese companies.

Vinasa said Vietnam always won a majority of AOTS scholarships. To date, a total of 111 engineers were provided these scholarships. This proves the excellence of Vietnamese learners and priorities of the Japanese Government in supporting and cooperating in IT with Vietnam.
