HCA Grants Golden Cup for Leading ICT Firms in Vietnam

HCA granted the golden medals and cups for leading information and communication technology (ICT) firms in Vietnam at the Ho Chi Minh City Theatre on July 10, 2006. This award, debuted 8 years ago, is a nation-scaled prize for competing ITC firms with high revenues and typical products. This award is trusted by the IT community as well as domestic and foreign markets.

Candidates for the award can be any ICT entities in Vietnam. At the prize-awarding ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Minh Hong, Deputy Minster of Posts and Telecom, said, this year’s award admitted several emerging firms like Hung Cuong Software and Solutions Co. Ltd and Hoang Trung Medical Informatics Development Co. Ltd, both of which have been elected potential software projects.

This year’s award will grant 19 prizes for four main scopes: hardware, internet-telecom service, training and software. Next year, the award will be supplemented more fields applied IT products like tourism administrative procedure reform, banking and construction.
