Namyang's Market Occupation Plan
South Korea’s Namyang Group, which sells XO and Star-trademarked milk in Vietnam, has launched an ambitious business plan in the Vietnamese potential market. Ms Tran Thu Hien, Director of the Customer Care Department, said, from now until this year’s end, Namyang will continually organise nutrition care seminars for various customers like pregnant and children. The seminar will be hosted weekly at big hotels nationwide.
Previously, the XO milk of Namyang held the third place in the Vietnamese market but this position was lost when it changed importer in late 2005. In February 2006, the group returned to Vietnam with a new importer, Traphaco Co, which replaced Viet Anh Co. Namyang is a nutrient product processing firm in South Korea with 75 per cent of market share there.
