Unilever Fund has recently used its $50-billion (US$3.13 million) expenditure in five years for its Programme “Playground for the Full Development of Vietnamese Children.”
In recent years, the Vietnam Children Sponsoring Fund has extracted more than VND6.37 billion ($398,000) from domestic and foreign organisations and individuals to support the construction of 116 outdoor playgrounds for children, especially for those living in remote and difficult regions. However, the realisation of the objective to create more playgrounds for kids is facing difficulties and has not come up with expectations. Apart from training programmes to raise awareness of traffic safety funded by Toyota and Ford, the “Playground for the Full Development of Vietnamese Children” Programme is considered the best programme to help children develop fully.
